Birth Doula

Hello! I’m Grace, a birth doula with a deep love for supporting women through pregnancy, labor, and the early postpartum season. I was raised in the North Raleigh area and currently live in Garner. Birth work has been woven into my life for as long as I can remember. My mother was also a doula, so conversations about babies, birth, breastfeeding, and caring for mothers were simply a normal part of life growing up. Some of my earliest memories involve hearing birth stories around the dinner table, watching mothers be supported well, and seeing firsthand just how transformative and sacred this season of life can be.

From a young age, I developed a deep appreciation for the beauty of pregnancy and the way God intentionally designed women’s bodies for birth. I believe there is so much peace to be found in understanding the natural process of labor rather than fearing it. I love helping mothers feel informed, grounded, and supported as they prepare for birth, while also embracing the gifts God has given us through creation; nourishing foods, rest, movement, herbal support, and holistic care.

My faith is deeply rooted in the work I do. At thirteen years old, I walked through a difficult season of depression that ultimately brought me closer to Christ and opened my eyes to His peace, gentleness, and love in a way I had never experienced before. That season shaped not only my faith, but the way I care for others. One of my greatest desires as a doula is to bring a calming and reassuring presence into the birth space so mothers feel safe, heard, and at peace during one of the most vulnerable and powerful moments of their lives.

Outside of birth work, I love music and playing instruments, hiking, spending time outdoors, and curling up with a hot herbal tea at the end of the day. I also love to prioritize spending time with my big family whenever I can. I feel incredibly honored to walk alongside families during such a life-changing season, and I truly believe it is one of the greatest privileges to witness new life enter the world.
