Birth is one of the most powerful and challenging things you’ll ever do. Society tells us that birth is scary, out of our control, and is treated like a medical condition.
We want you to feel informed, confident, and ready to face your birth, no matter how it unfolds.
If you take any of our childbirth education classes, you’ll have the opportunity to join our private Facebook group for mothers. We offer three different childbirth education options to choose from depending on your preferences.
CHILDBIRTH EDUCATION OPTIONS
Option 01
Online, Self-Paced
For those who want the convenience of taking the class slowly, from the privacy of their own home. This is a comprehensive class that will cover everything you’ll possibly need to know about physiological birth, your options, postpartum care, and more. Coming soon!
Option 02
Private, In-Person
For those who want a private customized class in their own home. Approximately 3-4 hours.
Option 03
Group, In-Person
For those who like live education in a setting with other local couples in the same season of life. Ask questions, practice comfort techniques, and leave feeling confident.
Online, Self-Paced Classes
Comprehensive Childbirth Education Course (Online) | $100 | Coming soon!
Access to our 100% online and on-demand class through Teachable. This class is self-paced, so you can take it at your convenience; repeat modules if needed, or binge it in one weekend, if time is an issue. Things we cover: pregnancy nutrition, physiological birth, stages of labor, comfort measures and positions, how your partner can support you, what to pack for your birth location, benefits and risks of interventions and pain relief, postpartum care, breastfeeding, newborn care, and more. Plus, we’ll go over topics like water birth, gentle cesareans, and home births, providing you with evidence-based research.

In-Person Classes
Private Childbirth Education Class (In-Person) | $250
You have the freedom to choose the information that you want to learn. We can customize your class by helping you pick topics based on your needs. We come to your home for this class; the comfort of your own space is preferred by some clients. This 3-4 hour class will leave you feeling educated and prepared for your baby’s birth. Group Classes
Group Childbirth Education Class Series (In-Person) | $200 / couple
Our group class series is “all-in-one” and includes not only prep for labor/birth, but also postpartum prep, breastfeeding, and newborn care. This class series will meet in Kernersville over the course of three evenings (each 2 hours in length). You’ll be nurtured through education and fellowship with other families in the same season of life, and you’ll leave feeling confident and prepared. Class one covers nutrition and exercise in pregnancy, communicating with your care team, and stages of labor. Class two covers comfort techniques and positions, medical interventions, developing birth preferences, and cesarean birth. Class three covers birth plan/goals review, postpartum preparation, newborn care, and breastfeeding.
