Hi there! I’m Cayt.
Birth Doula + childbirth educator
Hi there – I’m Cayt, and I’m so filled with joy that you’re here! I’m a childbirth educator, birth doula, wife, mama, and follower of Christ. Supporting women and families through pregnancy and birth is one of my greatest passions and deepest callings.
I was born and raised in Maryland before moving to North Carolina to attend UNC Greensboro. I vividly remember touring several campuses and wondering why UNCG felt different – I now know it was the Holy Spirit planting a seed. During my time there, I came to know the Lord through college ministry and outreach. I still remember the exact moment He saved me, it remains one of my happiest memories. I’m forever grateful that the Lord pursued my heart and made me new through His love and conviction.
UNC Greensboro is also where I met my husband – the very person who encouraged me to attend church for the first time. After dating since 2018 and growing together, we were married in 2022. He’s truly my best friend and an incredible partner who reflects the love of Christ daily. Together, we serve in children’s ministry at Kings Park International Church, where community and faith have become the center of our lives.
After two pregnancy losses, we welcomed our rainbow baby in March 2025. Long before that first loss, the Lord gave me a verse during prayer that I didn’t fully understand at the time — “You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.” – Genesis 50:20. When we lost our daughter, Elora, I finally understood why He had spoken that word to me. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside other women who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss, and I’m currently writing a book to help the Christian community better support families who have babies in heaven.
Our daughter, Clara – whose name means “light” – truly lives up to her name. After a high-risk pregnancy, she entered the world with strength and joy. She is already fiery, independent, intelligent– a miracle, a gift from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), and being her mother is my greatest honor.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve known that I wanted to be both a mother and a support to other mothers. While earning my degree in Public Health Education, I completed childbirth education and birth doula courses through ICEA. Now, having walked through birth myself, I feel even more deeply called to this work. Alongside my work as a doula and childbirth educator, I work for a nonprofit serving survivors of domestic violence and previously served at a Child Advocacy Center. As a survivor myself, I’m profoundly grateful that the Lord redeemed my pain – transforming it into compassion and advocacy for others walking through hardship.
My faith shapes every part of my work. The Lord carried me through three pregnancies – anchoring me in His Word, filling me with peace, and using my husband as a vessel of support and strength. My hope is to bring that same peace, faith, and steadiness into your birthing experience. I believe the Holy Spirit gifts parents with intuition that surpasses any standard protocol, and that every birthing space deserves to be filled with respect, comfort, and God’s presence.
It would be my honor to walk alongside you – to provide physical, spiritual, and emotional support; to advocate for the birth you desire and deserve; to speak the Word of God over you and your baby; and to celebrate the sacred moment when you finally hold the child you’ve so faithfully carried.
